The traveler's notebook system is probably the only thing that has ever worked for me notebook wise. It is nice to have some privacy at university where I feel like I have a safe place to put this.
I started writing for the sanity of everyone else in my life.
Nobody really wants to listen to my rambles.
------ I don't blame them really.
------ I'm also really bad at writing
------ things by hand since I type
------ all my notes in markdown
------ (typing equations is easier
than writing by hand now).
I also find that when I am actually busy, pen and paper is the only way to organise tasks effectively. Even though I coded oh so many beautiful pinterest worthy (i DID find them on pinterest) obsidian task managers and dashboards- I always returned to paper in exam season.
Since starting this notebook system I have finished THREE inserts, and was able to keep a diary for over half a year. I quite like typing up diaries since I can type much faster than I can write by hand, but it is still somewhat theraputic. Also because I love to doodle all over my diary entries!!
Even when in exam seasons sometimes if I get a little downtime I just want to doodle and place some stickers over my to-do list. I love to collect my stickers and bookmarks and fill the plastic pockets up with random crap to make it my own.
I really do bring this little thing everywhere, just in case I'm waiting around and want to write. It was expensive but I don't think I'll ever switch. x)
