So you want to know what games I like >_>.

I mostly play nintendo games. As you can see by the layout I started playing love live in 2013 until they discontinued it. I'm still mad. Never spent money on the game, but I was so rich... KLab removed the game so they could create Love Live 2 but it flopped - now I have no rhythm game. :(

I got my first console when I was about 3-4 years old. The first games I played were weird Disney DS games and cooking mama. I remember learning how to read off Animal Crossing Wild World: perhaps this could be a case study. I could read already- sure, but it was such an effort that I would skip text. BUT THEN my villagers would get angry at me- so I would read really their text really carefully with a dictionary. This irked me as a kid: when I didn't know words and asked my mum or sister they would say 'look it up yourself in a dictionary' like bestie you KNOW what X word means just tell me!!

At this age I also played Harvest Moon DS where I didn't actually grow any crops and would just GRIND for stone so I could make a barn. I got animals that died and then I cried on the stairs and my mum would have to tell me that the animals weren't real. Then she installed CHEATS onto my games hahahah. There was one so the animals didn't die... She also helped me play Harvest Moon Magical Melody: that game is so cryptic but I have an urge to return to it... I really did well on Animal Parade: I played that myself and basically completed it... Well I couldn't do the purple bell: I did though last year because I found out how to get Wii games on my Steam Deck. The Steam Deck is very nice since I tend to have long periods of intense fatigue where I can only lie down and THEN I don't get time to do the things I want to do since I used all my energy working. Now I can lie down, play the Wii AND play at like 500% speed since Animal Parade is so SLOW.

Okay other games. I remember finding out about pokemon from Super Smash Bros Brawl. In the story mode there was the pokemon trainer and he was SICK because he had THREE characters you could play as!! For my sister's birthday she got pokemon White and Black in... I need to check the date but it would have been 2010/2011 I believe. I still have my Stoutland which I used for the entire game, not really using any other pokemon because Stoutland steamrolled everything until... The Elite Four- which has ghost types AND fighting types!
The first pokemon game I owned was pokemon Heartgold, where I caught a shiny spearow less than half an hour into the game which is still called SHINYYYY!!!! Perhaps the best pokemon game, I need to replace my pokewalker battery and start doing that.

I guess not really a game but I used to play a ton of pet collecting online games online too. Unlimited internet access... Well with adblock. And also playing a lot of Devientart dress up games: they were PEAK.

On the 3DS I played a lot of New Leaf: it is my most played game of all time. I have I believe 1600 hours on that game, but I am unsure how much of that was on the home screen. It is a shame I kept restarting the game because I could have had an amazing town by now- but I remember just resetting the game usually when my favourite villagers move out or I return from hiatus. I will get back to that soon.

I then moved onto playing a LOT of splatoon, especially this was the time where my parents took me out of school. This probably wasn't great because whilst I got a lot of social clout online for being really good at the game, there were a lot of weirdos on there too. I would kind of just not tell people I was a woman- the people would call me Music Man so I never commented on it. Unfortunately boy or girl: there are a lot of creeps online trying to take advantage of you... And the weirdos were never even good at the game!! Anyway, it is depressing to think "oh I remember X person... who was... 34". Like you can be cool and all but why are you talking to people 20 years younger than you oh my GOD. Anyway, at least playing games online I sort of was able to make actual friends for the first time. The friends I had at that age would kind of just trauma dump on me so it was nice to just... play a lot of splatoon.

Which sort of brings us to now. Gaming is kind of a spark that comes and goes: since I went to Sixth Form and now university, I sort of just disappear from the online world and focus on my studies. I played a lot of games last Summer which I really needed because a lot of crap happened I had to distract myself from: 100%-ing a lot of games that I enjoy. I generally just like visually aesthetic games that I ... like to look at. I currently don't really have time to get into games but I'll try to keep a list somewhere around here on the games I have and want to play.
